TYS Tuesday: Light in the Storms

grassy hill by a lake in Hayesville, NC at Hawk's Hill Farm. Reflective paragraph below about light shining through storms.

It was our second gazebo that lost the battle with the whipping winds as they escalated almost in a tunnel down through the valley, across the lake with such force that it was lifted, flipped and carried up the hill to land in our yard. My first thought was, I’m not going to tell my brother-in-law Greg that it’s toast. It took Scott and Greg a whole weekend to put that baby together. Apparently, that space requires something different to keep the strong sun rays off of all of us prone to sun burning. This storm brought damage, a loss and an opportunity of change. Miraculously, the string lights that at once adorn the gazebo, survived the flight caused by the storm. The light still remains to shine!

What storms have you experienced that have caused a loss and an opportunity of change? What have you done to keep your light still shining?
